I was watching Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and noticed that they played the Mission Impossible theme while Ace?
so I guess Mission Impossible wasnt the first to movie to use the Mission Impossible theme.
The Mission: Impossible theme was also used in Airplane II: The Sequel (1982), The Spirit of ‘76 (1990), Wayne’s World (1992), and Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993) all of which were of course released before the first Mission: Impossible movie.

Great work there detective! LOL, I’ve never noticed that movie played it first, I guess that is something else we should give Jim Carrey props for.
